Horst Seehofer has called upon 12 distinct members of '"science" and practice to form the "Independent" Expert Council against Islamophobia (German: Unabhängiger Expertenkreis Muslimfeindlichkeit UEM). According to the website of the ministry their job is to 'analyse the changing forms of Islamophobia and research the overlaps with anti-Semitic attitudes as well as other forms of group-oriented hostilities against human beings.'
