SUICIDE BY COP...AGAIN!

police from the Sandy Police Department were dispatched on reports of a white who was having a mental health crisis and was possibly suicidal. As an officer was on his way to the area, police learned that the white had left a residence in the neighborhood. That officer found the white, later identified as 33-year-old white man Dylan William Murphy walking along 1000 East at around 11600 South. Murphy crossed the street in front of the officer, and then started walking toward him. The officer gets out of his car and calls out to the white to show him his hands. The white starts running toward the officer. The officer then shouts “Hands!” at the white twice more before firing his weapon at least three times, about seven seconds after his first command to the white.
