Misgendering Is Now Considered Sexual Harassment

In reality if you address someone as "you" (which is the second person pronoun in the English language) then you cannot "misgender" them because "you" is always gender neutral. You would call a male or female by the pronoun "you". The idea that you should use 3rd person pronouns (like He, She, It, They, Them) to address people is grammatically wrong and does not make any sense at all. 3rd person pronouns are used when you are talking about someone who is not present. Example: He went to the store.
Example: They went to the store. You should never use 3rd person (they or them) pronouns when talking to someone.

Misgendering refers to the experience of being labeled by others as a gender other than one that a person identifies with.
