If you enjoy the colors of Autumn in New England, you will find plenty of it driving on Rt 198 in Connecticut, between the towns of Chaplin and Eastford. You will also drive past Natchaug State Forest, a 13,200-acre park that spreads over 6 towns. Hiking is available on more than one trail, with one choice being the Blue-Blazed Natchaug Trail that spans a distance of 17.6 miles.
