so, i overtighten the clamp on the upper radiator nipple. yes, you're not supposed to put worm gear claps on plastic nipple for this reason. hit 80 in the interstate and the upper nipple blew off the radiator and coated the engine in coolant. after new radiator install, the belt squealed. in a hurry and spilled coolant on the new belt. so, i just drove around with it squealing instead of getting a third belt. soaked the belt from the radiator fail in diesel for a few days, maybe a week? i forgot it was in there. it swelled up, and i just put it off in the corner. finally got tired of the squealing belt and swapped them. so far, no squeak and this belt was cover in coolant.
