Just imagine a world where instead of the loving and innocent betrayed and tortured, the wicked received in multiples all the evil they perpetrate against others.

Yet in such a world it would pay to be good rather than evil, so God would be in effect bribing people to be good. In our world, we are seduced in all kinds of ways to be evil and support evil so that God gives us every incentive to join Satan in rebellion against Him.

This setup really separates the wheat from the tares.
