Jason MacGregor from Prince Edward Island in Canada has told the BBC that he and his partner have decided not to have kids in order to help fight climate change.

Despite not being a climatologist, he told the BBC that he "feels" that bringing another baby into the world will add to problems linked to global warming and that his home town was already being affected by rising sea levels and storm surges fuelled by climate change.

Jason was not asked about the constant flow of migrants moving to Canada from Africa, the Middle East and the rest of the world and whether he thought that would affect the climate too and whether he thought it would void his decision not to have children.
