Tatchell claims anti-paedophilia concerns are a result of homophobia

Matt Cooper's soft interview with Peter Tatchell today solely focused on his 1997 letter to the Guardian where he called it courageous to challenge the assumption that all sex involving children and adults was abusive.

Tatchell repeated his excuse that the letter was edited despite never suing or requesting an apology from the Guardian.

Tatchell has also stated that schoolchildren should be taught fellatio and cunnilingus (https://www.politicalirish.com/threads/new-minister-for-children-roderic-ogorman-at-dublin-pride-2018-with-controversial-author-peter-tatchell.36355/) as a ‘safe’ option and was vexed teachers didn't glamourise sex instead of just dealing with the biology.

Tatchell's vision for the future is one where the majority of people are bisexual but the links between Tatchell's Educate and Celebrate Institute and those promoting sex-ed reform in Ireland were not discussed either.

Nor was it mentioned Tatchell wrote the obituary for Ian Campbell Dunn who co-founded the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) nor that Tatchell wrote a chapter in Betrayal of Youth (1986) whose editor was Warren Middleton, a prominent activist with PIE.
