If you were to say Somali refugees can contribute hugely to Israeli society, you would experience backlash. Why? Because it would compromise the character of the Jewish state. Evidently the Jewishness of Israel is important. As you'll notice, these same Jewish people think nothing of the characters and identities of European states.
