Mike Henry, who has voiced the character of Cleveland Brown for two decades on "Family Guy," said on Friday that he is stepping down from the role on the FOX animated series.

He continued: "I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color. Therefore, I will be stepping down from the role."
@Jh_Burton22 You see this family guy list? It’s not racism it’s just a bulk of people who create the voices, even a black person. They didn’t hire a white person specifically to voice a black person. I don’t care really but these aren’t the issues that should be getting attention. Should there be a culture tax?
