The gang head out into space, promptly colonize their star systems equivalent of Mars, and begin exploring the galaxy. Only to find that, for the most part, the galaxy is devoid of life; as a result of the great intergalactic war. (The war that D and her race originally fled from, before an accident forced them to land on Earth.) They decide to launch a massive project to seed the galaxy with human life, and implemented technology to ensure that the course of human history and culture proceeded in much the same way as it had on their Earth. How they accomplished the latter or why isn't quite explained. If I had to guess I would say it had something to do with manipulation of probability biases, a concept that will be introduced later on in the Ryo-Ohki timeline. After their massive seeding project they faded from history, and would come to be known only as the Great Prehistoric Civilization.
