Earlier this week, Storm Efrain had already affected much of Spain.
On December 14, the storm reached the capital of the country.
Heavy rain caused flooding in the streets and in the subway of Madrid.
One of the most affected stations is the Bank of Spain, where streams of water even seeped into the train cars.
Several metro lines were affected, but they reopened later in the evening.
Firefighters reportedly carried out 38 flood-related rescues.
Fortunately there were no casualties.
