Who Was George Floyd and How Did He Die?

Emily Youcis examines some aspects of George Floyd's criminal life that we do not hear much about. She also documents the original autopsy revealing that Floyd died of a drug-induced heart attack. She then discusses a second autopsy that Floyd's family members paid for. The second autopsy changed to cause of death to homicide to place the blame on police and open the floodgates for a multi-million dollar settlement (27 million dollars paid to George Floyd's family members by the City of Minneapolis and Minnesota's mostly white taxpayers). Youcis further points out that police officer Derek Chauvin was accused of committing a racially motivated crime even though there was no evidence that demonstrated any racial animus on the part of Chauvin, the white sacrificial lamb.
