There's an interesting field in the humanities: global history, where the historian attempts to transcend national and ethnic boundaries to illuminate aspects of the past. It's different to comparative, big, macro, and imperial history, but is just as exciting. In this video, Madeleine discusses the numerous factors shaping global history into a dynamic field.
