Sabaton - Ghost division (English Lyrics)

After the invasion of Poland went through in a few weeks, there was a period of a few months in late 1939 to early 1940 in which no conflict took place called the phoney war. This came to an abrupt end on the 10th of May 1940 when Germany launched a surprise attack on Belgium and the Netherlands, sweeping into France with fast moving armoured Panzer divisions pushing far ahead into french territory. Using these fast armoured divisions such as the 7th Panzer division (Also known as the ghost division or Rommels division) cut around the well entrenched Maginot line, destroying phone lines and signal emplacements, cutting off communication across France. They were called Ghost division due to their speed and cutting of communications made them impossible to track, making them seem to appear out of thin air all across northern France.
