Pregnant Inmates - RCMP Back Pay - Liberal Children
Two inmates impregnated by transgender inmate at all-women’s prison in New Jersey
Two inmates at an all-women’s prison in New Jersey are pregnant after reportedly having sex with a transgender inmate.
The women are confined at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ.Com reported. It’s the state’s only all-women’s prison and is slated for closure following complaints about sexual assaults and other problems in the facility.
Dan Sperrazza, a spokesman for the New Jersey Department of Corrections, told NJ.com that the women became pregnant after “consensual sexual relationships with another incarcerated person.”

Taxpayers could be on the hook for millions in back pay for RCMP officers
Representatives from a number of southern Alberta communities that rely on the RCMP for policing are concerned about the costs that could be dropped onto taxpayers as a result of a new labour deal for officers.
The agreement, between the Canadian government and the National Police Federation (NPF), the union that represents the RCMP, was reached in June and results in a $20,000 payroll increase for the more than 19,000 regular members.
The deal also includes retroactive pay dating back to April 2017, officials say.
As many southern Alberta communities looked over the new agreement, many see it will have a "significant financial impact on municipalities."
B.C. cities on hook for millions in back pay to RCMP members warn of major budget impacts
B.C. municipalities have begun to receive bills for millions of dollars to cover back pay for RCMP members under the police force’s new collective agreement — and are warning of tax increases or other budget impacts unless Ottawa helps shoulder the load.
Signed last August, the agreement between the members’ union and the federal government secured pay raises for thousands of RCMP members that are retroactive to 2017, covering the period since the pay scale was last updated in 2016.

America’s Forgotten History of Forced Sterilization
In early September, a nurse working at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Georgia came forward with shocking allegations of medical neglect and abuse, claiming that numerous involuntary hysterectomies (uterus removal surgeries) were performed on detained immigrant women.
This allegation understandably evoked fury and outrage among the general public, with numerous people denouncing it as a human rights violation and yet another example of the current administration’s cruelty towards women and immigrants.
