House Republicans Hold Press Conference 1/4/19

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) condemned remarks made by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), in which she referred to President Donald Trump as a “m...” while calling for his impeachment.
McCarthy, on Friday, told reporters today that what Tlaib said was “wrong.”
“Do you know what happened in the last Congress when Republicans were in the majority? You know what our freshman class did?” McCarthy asked. “They put a resolution together to actually work with one another, to not use foul language. They got almost every single freshman to sign onto it — that’s the difference with this new Congress and it’s wrong.”

“I think a lot of them did,” McCarthy claimed, but did not offer any names.
