"Get Out... is the second level of three I have planned for a (as yet unnamed) PWAD using Ola Björling's (Ukiro) incredible texture pack, OTEX. It is, of course, the follow-up to Break-in!, which I will keep in its own thread for now because I need to sit down and get everything working in one wad. Hopefully that's not too daunting. Nonetheless, I wanted to get this one out in the wild to see what everyone thinks.
Like Break-In!, Get Out is meant to be pretty difficult. This time, however, you'd better be ready to fight right from the outset. This one's not quite as spooky but I'd still recommend that you play it with the software renderer for the few bits that are dark. It didn't matter so much in the last map, but this time mouselook and jumping could potentially break it or make certain fights much easier. If the Ultra-Violence setting is still too easy, try loading it up with Tango's Supercharge mod for even more carnage.
The map has been tested with PRBoom+ and GZDoom and has both UV and HMP difficulties implemented. There is an issue with one of the computer textures that appear 2 or 3 times in the map and its animation skipping to another, separate computer texture for a single tic. Despite my best efforts, I just can't figure out why this is happening since all of the textures needed for it to work properly are there and the Animated lump appears to incorporate it properly. It'll be fixed by the time I finish the third and final map but to save both time and my sanity I'm just going to leave it alone for now since it's really barely noticeable."
