Joining Themselves Together

It appears, that in the coming final Empire divided between Assyria and Egypt, that these two duelling Kings will be “joining themselves together” by means of Marriage. First with South joining North (Daniel 11:6), then the North joining South (Daniel 11:17).

These alliances are not about strengthening, but about bringing each other down (see Daniel 11:26-27). To say that this is historical is irreconcilable with this particular prophecy from beginning to end, a prophecy that concerns the coming Final Kingdom of Mankind before God's Kingdom comes.

Also it appears from Daniel 10:14 that this particular prophecy bears upon the future of Israel.

The language used here refers to what is mentioned as one of the characteristics of the last empire of mankind's history (Daniel 2:43).

The King of the South (Egypt), instead of becoming independent of his Northern rival (remember they rule jointly), he will only become more subjected to him than he was previously.

It'll be the son of this daughter of Pharaoh that'll raise up an Army to come against his Grandfather and Cousin the 1st and 3rd Assyrian Kings of the North.
