This is such a controversial topic that I want to add my personal opinion as well. I am NOT PRO-National Socialism because I don't believe that humans NEED to be ruled by any person, group or organization. However, context is important and off course these ideas can be debated. Yet, if we want to debate, we need to be honest and bring all information to the table. Otherwise the debates are dishonest and useless.
It seems to me that whatever approach was taken between 1920 and 1950, be it an attitude of opposition or passivity, the outcome would generally have been the same. Instead it can be argued that Hitler made many valuable philosophical contributions and he bought time against megalomaniac forces working towards world domination. He acted with what was known and believed at that time. Now we have different sets of skills, resources and knowledge. I also think that although Hitler displayed extremely rare and exceptional qualities, as a matter of principle, it is wise not to idolize any person.
I am personally against violence and currently there is a great effort to associate violence with the "COVID" narrative. I believe if it was ever important to NOT REACT WITH VIOLENCE, it is now. Instead, we now have other options to explore which were not available in the past. Those that came before and proved the dishonesty of our "leaders" bought time and opportunity for those of us who can imagine a future of prosperity, progress and well-being.
