Alicia and Lyfe's reworking of the Curtis Mayfield & the Impressions' classic featured on the Original Soundtrack of the 2006 movie "Glory Road". The soundtrack also features songs by a whole host of other Soul artists including Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, The Isley Brothers, Otis Redding, The Contours as well as Country Soul singer Billy Joe Royal and Gospel singers Mahalia Jackson and The Meditation Singers.

As the terms "Soul singer" and "Soul Music" have been pretty much out of use in the USA since the '90s, more traditional Soul artists like Alicia Keys and Lyfe are often referred to as "Neo Soul" singers. The term Neo Soul was coined by American record producer and record label executive William "Kedar" Massenburg , who was the president of Motown Records from 1997 to 2004 and it is used to describe a fusion of traditional Soul music with Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, and African music influences.
