Ross explored Antarctica from 1839-1842. He approached in January, with no mention of long days as in the northern summer. No vegetation was seen. At 77 degrees South a high ice wall 200 feet high stretched as far as the eye can see. They traveled an estimated 60,000 miles in 4 years, proving they circumnavigated the outer barrier of our flat earth.
