The Age of War begins June 22nd 2023 in Conan Exiles! This new chapter will add a number of new features and changes to the game, all leading into more of the conflicts that will mark the full arc.
Chapter 1 Features
Purge revamp: The purge is being expanded and overhauled, with new types of enemies, more challenging encounters, and increased rewards.
Recruitable mercenaries: You can now recruit mercenaries to fight alongside you in battle. These mercenaries can be customized with different weapons and armor, and they will level up as they fight alongside you.
Enemy AI upgrades: Enemy AI has been upgraded to make them more challenging and intelligent. Enemies will now use cover, flank you, and coordinate attacks.
Other additions: There are a number of other additions coming in Chapter 1, including new building pieces, weapons, and armor.
Chapter 2 and 3
Chapters 2 and 3 will feature a number of new additions and changes. These include:
New enemies: New enemies will be added in Chapters 2 and 3, including Stygians, Hyrkanian warriors, and Pictish raiders.
New locations: New locations will be added to the Exiled Lands, including the Stygian city of Stygia and the Hyrkanian city of Turan.
New weapons and armor: New weapons and armor will be added in Chapters 2 and 3, including Stygian weapons and armor, Hyrkanian weapons and armor, and Pictish weapons and armor.
PvE Sieges
All of these changes will lead to PvE sieges in Chapter 3. In PvE sieges, you will be able to fight back against the Stygian invasion. You will need to build up your defenses and train your troops in order to survive the onslaught.
