"February 19th, the Public Health Committee will be holding a public hearing on House Bill (HB) 5044, An Act Concerning Immunizations. If this bill becomes law, it would effectively end the religious exemption for certain vaccines...Proponents of the legislation believe this is a matter of public health while opponents believe this is a violation of religious freedom and that parents should be able to make this decision for their children."
