Even though The Narrator is still narrating, The Bucket cheers that he and Stanley are finally alone together. The Bucket feels the need to reveal his true self to Stanley and tell him its life story. The Bucket has witnessed every devastating war since the dawn of history and how it regrets doing nothing bring peace because it was so weak. It begins to embrace its inner darkness while Stanley fails to comprehend every word The Bucket has said. The Bucket tells how he was punished by an evil wizard for stealing his sacred amulet. Stanley again cannot comprehend that his Bucket was more than an ordinary bucket. The Bucket "transforms" into a elder god like beast then the screen goes dark metal clangs, stabs, and banging is heard. A light is shone on The Bucket now broken and bloodied with a knife sticking out of it. The Narrator praises Stanley for slaying The Bucket tells Stanley never to trifle with it ever again after the next game restart. Why do we always hurt the ones we love? Why, Bucket, WHY? Bucket! BUCKET!! BUCKETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!
