In all seriousness, where did our beloved First Person Shooters go? I know that there is a nostalgic aspect to our favorite gaming genres but I guess it's safe to say that in 2019, franchises like Call of Duty and even Battlefield are no longer what they used to be.

It's a shame really because Call of Duty was running on an unsustainable formula that only benefited Activision/Blizzard shareholders while rotting from the inside. That market has changed so much that I don't think that traditional shooters can continue to survive in its current form.

This is why we're seeing a crazy boom in Battle Royale titles like PUBG, Fortnite, APEX Legends, Call of Duty's Blackout, Ring of Elysium, Battlefield 5's unreleased Battle Royale mode Firestorm and many more.

Also, in 2019, you'll notice a new focus on 3rd Person squad Co-Op titles with Anthem, The Division 2, GTFO, a rumored Borderlands 3 and of course the continued success with Warframe.

The gaming industry has changed and I believe that they're permanently moving away from the traditional First Person Shooter formula. Let me know what you think in the comment section! GGs.

We take a look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and run it with maxed out settings on an i7 4790K stock at 4.0GHz with default Intel Turbo Boost to 4.5GHz, 16GBs of DDR3 RAM at 1600MHz and an ASUS GTX 980Ti Strix with 6GBs of VRAM. Cinematic cut-scenes defaults to 27 FPS but the rest of the game runs amazing in both 1080 and 1440 resolutions exceeding 60FPS. 4K dips to under 20FPS at times but maintains 35-40 FPS with this set-up. Here's a clip from the second half of Domination that I had in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Stronghold. After some insane hipfire frags with my trusty VMP Auto, I quickly racked up a couple of Hellstorm Missles in less than 2 minutes only to wipeout the entire enemy team with my second Hellstorm! It's one of the many crazy moments that I captured and wanted to share with you guys. Enjoy and thank you for watching!

This is my first time playing ARK: Survival Evolved. It is best played with friends although you can still have a great time playing solo on official servers. It's still in Early Access on Steam but it's definitely worth the price of admission in the survival genre.
