Report on status of the Border Fence being constructed in the Calexico area in California for December, 2019

Video covers about 42-miles of border from just outside Calexico all the way to the Colorado River. 42 miles is a quarter of the Ca border and it’s nearly all 15-foot-high bollard fence already, pre-Trump Wall. There were news reports about it already in 2009. It was no doubt funded during the Dubya Bush era and the construction may have continued into Obama’s time. That seems to be the case with many, if not all of these pre-Trump bollard fences. They were all funded and constructed at about that same time.

Report on the status of the existing border fence in Jacumba, Ca for November, 2019. Most of the the six miles of existing fence is already bollard fence that was installed in 2008 during the Bush presidency. A small part is landing mat fence that was constructed about 25 years ago, during the Clinton term. It is not known, whether there are any plans to upgrade or add to this existing fence at this time.

In this clip, scenes are shown of the existing border fence as it is in October, 2019, near Campo, California. This clip deals with a stretch of about 17 miles in total, running from the outskirts of Tecate to the community of Boulevard. Campo is a small border town of about 3,000 inhabitants in the mountains about 35 miles east of San Diego. The border fence is not in good condition here, but I want to show the best and the worst. The public needs to know what the bad parts are, also, not just the good. Hopefully, a new fence in Campo will be built before long.

NOTE: None of the fence shown in this video was constructed during the Trump term in office. It's not meant to be anti-Trump or pro-Trump, just the reality of what the fence looks like now. The only exception is that the Army Corps of Engineers added the concertina wire to the existing fence last winter.

Provides a status of the border fence in the Otay Mountain area between Tijuana and Tecate for November, 2019. On September 16, 2019, General Semonite, commander of the Army Corps of Engineers said during a news conference at the border fence in San Diego that a new fence is planned for this stretch of the border next year.

CBP released this drone video of the border fence being constructed to the east Yuma, Arizona and to the east of the Mexican town of San Luis Rio Colorado. I went there on September 5th, 2019 to take a look. On the other side of the border is Mexican highway 2. The unusual thing about this project is that there are multiple sections of the fence and multiple crews working on it. There are at least four sections. By a measurement with my odometer about 13.5 miles of new bollard fence have been built so far. I believe this will be a 20 mile stretch of fence. If there are four crews working on four different sections, the project should be completed in just a couple of months, but that’s just my guess. There may be plans to extend this fence another ten miles all the way to the Cabeza Prieta Mountains, beyond the 20 miles fence already being constructed.

Took video of this Tijuana resident spraying the new border fence with some liquid. I speculate that he's trying to make it corrode faster. What do you think

A five-mile border fence is being constructed on the Colorado River, where the gap is actually about twelve miles wide. More than six of the miles where there will be no pedestrian fence would be on an Indian reservation and another mile will be to the north of Morelos Dam where the river can be waded with ease.

This section of the border is easily accessible via Mexican highway 2 that runs parallel to the border in this area. It is also near populated areas, Yuma on the US side and the Mexican towns of San Luis Rio Colorado and Los Algodones, making it a convenient place for illegal border crossing. This particular section has historically had a high rate of illegal crossing.

The US Customs and Border Protection spokesman for public affairs for the Yuma sector, Vincent Dulesky, said there is no funding for the seven-mile gap that will remain and and a fence is not being considered for these gaps in the border fence at this time.

For almost a year from Fall of 2018 through 2019, I tried to find out whether armed troops were really guarding our border as has been claimed. Learn the results in this video with also some explanation of the Posse Comitatus Act. The Posse Comitatus Act forbids use of troops to enforce domestic law. However, there are exceptions to the law for civil disturbances and terrorist attacks. A exception may also be needed for the president to be able to send armed troops to guard our border directly against mass illegal crossings by hundreds of thousands of foreigners, which could justifiably be called an unarmed "invasion".

Video shows status of border fence in Tecate, California. On August 13th, 2019, I went to Tecate to see, if they had started building the planned new fence there. Tecate is about 20 miles east of Tijuana. They have a contract to build 4 miles of 30-foot-high bollard fence to replace the old, landing-plate fence. I found out they had already started building the fence two months earlier. About a mile and a half of the fence had already been constructed.

On September 3rd, 2019, I went to the Yuha Desert just west of Calexico, Ca to see the construction of a new 15 mile section of fence that had just started 1-2 weeks earlier. With only one crew working on it at this time, it most likely take more than a year to finish. The new fence will run from just east of Signal Mountain to the Jacumba Wilderness. It's in Imperial County, California.

A video of a border breakthrough. The fence is called Normandy style. There’s about 15 miles of this kind of fence in the Yuha desert just west of Calexico, California and probably around 150 miles of Normandy fence on the border, often in places near highways and urban areas, where it’s very convenient for illegals to cross. It’s pretty easy to cut though in places with a cutting torch, bolt cutters or maybe even a battery-operated hand saw.

San Diego has a double fence. In this Border Patrol video, two illegal crossers are caught in the middle. This is not the place they crossed, but just to give you some background. This view is from the Mexican side. In the foreground, there’s an 18-foot-high primary fence that runs for 14 miles that was just finished in August of 2019. In the background, a 30-foot-high, secondary fence is being built that runs parallel. The secondary fence is less than half finished at this point. Pointed out for comparison, a part of the 8-foot high legacy, landing-mat fence still exists here. Not that long ago it was the only fence in this area.

The smuggling cartels control who crosses the border. There are tens of miles on either side of this short stretch of new border fence where the border can be crossed much more easily, because new fence has not been built, yet. The are many miles of border near Calexico where a person can still just walk across with no effort. There really is no need to go over this new 30-foot-high fence, except as a publicity stunt. Why risk your life crossing a short stretch of 30-foot-high fence when you can walk around it? You can say this was a kind of PsyOp, a demo that the fence could be crossed to embarrass the Border Patrol, to embarrass Trump and to demoralize supporters of border security. At the same time, it enthuses those fanatical anti-Americans, who oppose border security and are hell-bent on destroying America at any cost.

This is a progress report on the border fence building project in the area of Lukeville and the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument area. About 43 miles of new 30-foot-high bollard fence is being constructed there at this time.
