"Could you please help me bring back my Cuccos", she said ever so sweetly with a bright face. The ever-cunning, mostly pragmatic Me however, would not grant such a request without anything in return...
"Well, make it worth my while", I uttered in an aloof tone. The brightness in her face suddenly vanished as shivers fell down her spine. She knew exactly what this meant, yet her mind raced, trying to find another way, an escape out of this impasse...
"W-w-what about... 50 rupies!", she explained as her facial expression contorted, desperately trying to hide the visceral fear any independent and strong woman would feel behind a smile that acted as a facade thereof. In return, I simply explained: "But my wallet is full anyways, that serves me nothing", with a sly smirk on my lips.
"Th-then what do you want?" she asked, but she knew too well: as my bulging patriarchal assets clearly indicated, she knew that I was about to assert my position as a man with these very next words that would shock and make weep any of the long gone suffragettes in their now cold graves, all the while desecrating any ideals held up by modern women's rights activists: "Could you make me a sandwich?"
Shocked by these words that dehumanized and put women as well as Bel-Airian butlers down the social ladder so many times, she gasped.
"What do you mean by that?!"
Yet I was not entirely satisfied with this situation. I decided to one-up myself and started mansplaining to her plain cold:
"Look, I just want two pieces of bread, some lettuce and tomatoes maybe and either ham or chicken. I am not picky. Can you do that?"
"Maybe I can get some from the local bakery...", she tried to weasel herself out of it.
"No, I want it specifically made by you", I declared coldly.
She nodded, her face now sporting an empty stare as if her feminine soul had left her body. I happily did the job she was forced to request from me while feeling good and proud about my masculinity for having oppressed someone earlier that day.
