Constantly spawning enemies, tentacles that constantly attack, and we were essentially on easy mode until getting the lantern back. This was similar to how the Souls games were originally supposed to be, but that was decided against.

Maybe this game should be approached as a Rogue-like instead of a Souls-like. I wonder if that would help. Honestly not sure where to go from here, whether I should do the occasional episode (like Rain World) but I'm taking a break for the time being.
