Yuengling Brewery Black And Tan Review - Craft Beer Review

The Yuengling Brewery began in 1829 when David G. Yuengling arrived from Wuerttemberg, Germany. It is America's oldest brewery and has been making various styles nearly the whole time. The Black & Tan was introduced in 1986 and it models a traditional English Half & Half. Channel Dad Bryon Lape tries the canned version. He does pour it into a glass first.

Across the ocean in Ireland, the term "Black and Tan" has a very different meaning, so they prefer to call this a "Half and Half". There does seem to be some contention on whether the mixture should be a Harp Lager and a Guinness Stout or mixing the stout with a Base Ale.
