For a little while I thought Andrew Jackson was an American Hero for killing the bank. My understanding of this has been flipped around now. A.J. killed our national independent bank and paid off the debt to corrupt creditors like he is a 3rd world country paying off the IMF. Van Buren is like A.J.'s right hand man as I've been discovering this so I've become a little curious about who he was. There is a very interesting episode where Canadians try to imitate the American Revolution and launch an uprising. Van Buren helps squash it despite its wide popularity. Van Buren is a traitor to the Patriot movement. If John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay were in office at the time they would have been up for whooping Britain's arse again!
