The Time 60 Minutes Did A Hit Piece On Dungeons and Dragons

In 1985, Pompous asshat Ed Bradley helmed this infamous segment of 60 Minutes, which mostly portrayed DND as a tool of the devil. Despite having creator Gary Gygax address the issues with these claims, most of the spotlight was put on parent Patricia Pulling, who was clearly distraught because she didn't understand why her son killed himself, and scumbag/disgraced University of Illinois professor Thomas Radecki. Apologies for the poor quality, but this is the upload that also features news reports about Radecki later running an unlicensed fertility clinic out of his house. Radecki was later convicted in the 2010s of illegally supplying opiates to patients, receiving a 20 year sentence. A prime example of a "respected" program like 60 Minutes using con artists to generate sensationalism and slandering an IP without true scientific data.
