Bitcoin Interview: Michael Saylor and Max Keiser

First, Michael Saylor of Nasdaq-Listed MicroStrategy purchased $250 million in bitcoin. Big surprise move! Aug 11, 2020 - Acquired 21,454 bitcoins. Now the news is that he invested nearly all $500 million of his cash in bitcoin, rather than buy back all shares of his company and get stuck without money in their treasury. Investors were offered cash at a premium for their shares and $60 million was purchased from shareholders. The rest of the second $250 million was invested in bitcoin, about $175 million. His reasons are sound and worth hearing. Saylor said, 'Fiat is like crossing the ocean in a rubber raft with a hole in it. Gold is like crossing the ocean in a wooden ship and bitcoin is like crossing the ocean in a steel, cargo container ship'. He said that bitcoin is going to eat gold, as a store of value! We're going to see all corporations with cash and fund managers do the same, because bitcoin is the best store of value.
