Dark Universe - Hüter des Friedens (Dark Universe - Keeper of the Peace) is 4X strategy game. It was developed by Martin Gesmbh, produced by neo Software and published by Max Design (all three companies are from Austria), In the distant future, mankind has established contact with several alien races. One of them, the Kurulls, is very similar to the humans, but instead of being on good terms, both races developed an animosity towards each other, which ultimately led to a war which devastated the galaxy. After the war had ended, tensions did not calm down, and the corrupt Earth government prepares to strike again and defeat the Kurulls. The Emperor of the Kurulls appoints the player to rebuild the Kurulls' military industrial complex and crush the Terran aggression.
