SCRUBBING LAB FUMES USING YOUR SEWER SYSTEM

How to contain unwanted lab fumes down your sink. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT FOR HIGH VOLUME FUMES FROM A GIANT LAB. It is just for home chemist type fumes and keep in mind there are laws about what chemicals you can do this with. The gases NEED TO BE SOLUBLE IN WATER FOR THIS TO WORK. Styrene is not soluble in water. It is not an instructional video but just showing something i did a few times back in the day.. Just trying to show everyone i did NOT STOP making videos and will be back to doing experiments soon starting with "HOW TO MAKE CARBOXY METHYLBENZENE (toluic acid) PART 2" and then "HOW TO MAKE METHYLBENZENE (toluene) BY THE SODA LIME DECARBOXYLATION OF CARBOXY METHYLBENZENE (toluic acid). Chlorine would have been a good example..........it is soluble in water and water treatment centers do add chlorine to water to clean it and it is a nasty gas. HCl gas would be a good example too............cause half the drain cleaner out there is a STRONG acid, usually sulfuric acid though, And it is water soluble and a nasty gas
