Kaja's Yellow Submarine, with Commentary from My Neighbour's Horse

Right, so after I read an article about how difficult it is to paint yellow models, I thought "why paint them at all?" I cook with turmeric a lot, and it stains EVERYTHING, so I figured that it would make a nice alternative to yellow paint. Therefore, I took a few of my models and stained them, including two 1:1800 scale prints of the Soviet diesel-electric ballistic missile submarine K-129. This particular shade of yellow may not be to your liking, but if you start with a different base colour, you may get different results.
