The name says it all tonight. Story-wise, the game is holding together for the most part, but gameplay-wise... yeah... tonight, we went back in time to stop a dancer from blowing up the only bridge in and out of town, killing literally everyone by starvation including the "love of her life" so he would be stuck with her forever. He may love her too, but yeah, this is the defenition of "crazy bitch syndrome." But with the bridge ready, we continued to chase down the Major's forces, only for him to show up himself!
But the game to back this... oh god... that's all I can say... a puzzle with half the rules missing and ma minutegame about button mashing and a bullet-hell dodging mini-game that is supposed to be maybe a couple minutes were most of the session. I say especially cause that last onectook half an hour to scrape by. Now I will admit, I am NOT a bullet-hell shmup player by any means, but when your ship is sliding like it's on ice, the controls for such precision type gaming are now working against you. This video is as long as it is mainly because this almost ended the game and I didn't want to come back to "try this again." The game is falling apart, and while I still intend to finish it... it's now more to finish the story then any real fun to be expected. HUGE change from when I started playing.
