Every year, there is a holiday pack from Short's Brewing with some big hoppy beers. It is fantastic and the selection changes every year. In 2019, one of the beers included was Good Humans, a dry hopped double Brown Ale. The name?? Good Humans. It is a nod to Passion, Humility, and Wisdom. Yes! The three good humans, just like the three wisemen visiting the Baby Jesus. It is a Christmas beer pack, after all.

Good Humans was originally created to showcase one of Briess Malting Company’s new malt varieties. Good Humans is a Double Brown Ale made with Carabrown Malt and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Golding hops. The brew has sweet malty esters that are met by huge toasted caramel and toffee flavors. The finish is dry with a bouquet of hops.
