"Elvis by Request - Flaming Star & 3 Other Great Songs" was the 6th soundtrack album by Elvis Presley at RCA.
In Germany, it was released on RCA Victor, catalog number EPA 9009, in May 1961 (with "Wild in the Country") and again as EPA 9011 in December 1961 (with "Summer Kisses, Winter Tears").
The album represented the soundtrack for the movie "Flaming Star", with promotional "G. I. Blues" tracks on the B-side, and was Elvis' only 33 1/3 RPM release.
Soundtrack recording sessions took place on April 27, May 6, August 8-9 and October 7, 1960, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood.
Both German versions of the EP had "Frankfort Special" and "G. I. Blues" on the B-side.
Here we bring you the full 1961 German EP. We hope you like it. Enjoy!
