Tonight, we did not play live, but with good reason, as the RetroBlockParty was on! I refuse to stream against it! But that is not to say we did not make progress... after a fairly tough battle, we took down Billy... and the mayor is in deep shit! Once again, this is playthrough is just RICH with spoilers... so if you haven't caught up with all three seasons of Stranger Things, I recommend you hold off on this one.
And as always we are not just playing for ourselves but to get the word out there for a major charity event called Extra Life. About a decade ago the then owner of a now defunct site called Sarcastic Gamer was forced to watch as a family he was friends with lost their daughter to cancer. In her honor, he started the first one as a charity for the hospital that tried to help her. It was a huge success for something so impromptu, and what started as a one-shot event gained a sequel. Now, run by the Children's Miracle Network, the event has raised over $50,000,000 to help kids across the network, and we are looking to make each year bigger and bigger. That's where you come in.
If you like the idea of playing video games to help kids, come check out the details at www.extra-life.org. If you want to help a gamer you know who takes part in this, look them up in the search of that site. And finally if it's us you want to help, you can find us here: https://www.extra-life.org/team/RedSector
In any case you choose, thank you for your help.
