2 Year Ex Vegan Interview - Freed From Vegan Brainwashing
I had the pleasure of interviewing "Jesse" just recently who is someone who switched to a vegan diet for 2 years straight, he transitioned from a vegetarian diet to a vegan diet after hearing about it through someone people he knew.
He naturally felt inclined to try out the vegan diet as it felt in alignment for him, so he made the switch and at first, he felt good but long term he found he started to get too skinny, he lost a lot of muscle and strength alongside running into various other issues holistically.
Just like many vegans, he tried many things to make the vegan diet work when he was not feeling optimal from eating this way, such as taking tons of supplements, superfoods, etc but nothing he tried ever worked to get him to a point of thriving and functioning optimally on the vegan diet.
He enviable realized on this journey when his health declined that is was quite likely the vegan diet affecting him in a negative way and he began to see that he had been massively brainwashed by vegans and things he had learned about the vegan diet.
After 2 years on the vegan diet, he started experimenting with animal-based foods and he got amazing instant benefits, due to this happening this then sent him in a direction of fully switching to an omnivore style diet for quite some time and at one point he even tried out the carnivore diet.
During all of this, he had to go through a major reprogramming of his belief system around animal foods being bad for you, that the vegan diet was the best diet for everyone, that a vegan diet is a completely compassionate diet and so many other vegan dogmatic beliefs that had plagued his mind so he could fully remove those vegan googles and see the diet world with completely new eyes.
