Second video, showin' some progress here and there; moding this game's been so much fun; am trying too, to stay close to the original's artistic design, other than the fully remade cereal boxes, that is, I had some fun with that.
Wel…

Well, truth is NoCliche, the original devs, are no more and chances of this very game getting remastered and re-released, are slimmer than slim to none; that's when I thought; what if I remaster the darn myself?
Welp, I gave it a shot, and this the result of something that I've been working on for the fun of it, and whenever I feel like it.
So far, I remade a couple textures here and there, did so in higher definition and packed in as much detail as I could in each one of them;
I'm only going' for the kitchen though, and probably wont do much more than that, as modding is time consuming, and patience is limited; once you run out of that, you can kiss fun times goodbye.
...but enough talk; have at yo... Wait, wrong game; let's discuss what Toy Commandet is all about instead.
Used to love the heck out of Toy Commander! Released in 1999 for Sega's Dreamcast, the game was quite the technological showcase, but not graphically, no; instead it was all about its physics simulation engine, which was a stunner back in the day!
Graphically speaking, however; the game was quite pretty when it came out. It it was colorful enough I'd say, and its art direction was sweet; but as far as visuals go, it's not pushing, not even a fraction of what the Dreamcast could do.
Many of the game's original textures are in fact, lower resolution than I ever thought possible on a console from the 128bit gen, and more akin to something you'd see on an older, 32bit PlayStation/Saturn/N64.
