THE 1980s “NEW WAVE” ERA: My Personal Musical Coming-Of-Age + Current Film Projects

DURATION: 11m51s -- I'll have the good fortune this week of participating -- for the first time in a long while -- in a musical film. We'll kick things off with a table read of the entire cast later in the week, progressing to the dancing/singing sections in due course throughout the spring.

What makes this project -- "POP: An Apocalyptic Parody" -- so special for me that it's set to the music of MEN WITHOUT HATS (MWH), Ivan Doroschuk's band, Canadian leaders in the New Wave Era of the early '80s, which was a musical coming-of-age for me.

I was jamming through the script read as had YouTube clips of MWH's music playing in the background at the indicated sections in the screenplay. SO MUCH FUN!

I thought something a little less politically-oriented was appropriate to begin the week.
