Why should we conform to the group? The reason seems to be that "we are very social creatures" and "we want to be liked". However, wouldn't it be problematic when everybody thinks the same? Wouldn't that be more like totalitarianism? Should we not search our own truth, and respect diversity? Wouldn't it be better to be proud of being different? What about "being social" as "being different"? What about "I like you, because you are not me"?
