NAS Retro - Fizban Ep8 Being good isn't always gunna be easy - Skyrim Roleplay RP Elder Scrolls Lore
Hey there Adventurer, thanks for joining me as we continue Fizban’s Adventure as he tries to continue on to the College of Winterhold.
When Lydia takes her watch and Fizban sleeps, he has a lucid and disturbing nightmare, being beckoned by a dark god of some sort, affiliated with nature. There was something dark to it, so Fizban forced himself to flee, being chased until he woke in a flash, startling Lydia. (1:08)
Almost IMMEDIATELY the two are set upon by reiklings, boars and BOY did that mounted terror hit HARD (3:30). Losing track of Lydia most of the fight, Fizban once again nimbly works his way in and out of direct combat, using the terrain and magic to his advantage against a foe who would OTHERWISE be way out of his class and league.
A little too aggressive Fizzy takes a MASSIVE hit full on, seeing stars and red for a moment before coming to (MY FAVORITE PART! “WHOOO, saw THAT” 7:38). The battle ends, thankfully, and the pair collect themselves, share a laugh and move on.
After a few encounters typical of Skyrim, he arrives at Anga’s Mill (17:43), moving on quickly. Up the road, Fizban and Lydia encounter a trio of Adventurers (20:45) and upon hearing their half cooked tale, Fizban decides to accompany them after some deliberation. If these were bandits leading him into a trap, it is better him and Lydia than some hapless travelers.
“Being good isn’t always supposed to be easy,” Fizban mutters (22:23) as he is within a metaphorical stone’s throw away from Windhelm, thus the carriage, and thus the College. But PERHAPS this will be a milk run. He wanted to trust these Adventurers and placing trust in someone, and surviving battle with them, there is no stronger bond to be forged.
The 5 Brave Adventurers arrive at Morvunskar (25:15) and without warning or anything of the sort, they are set upon by enemies (25:38). Almost immediately they can be identified as Daedra worshippers, something that Fizban isn’t sold on as being bad. However, seeing as THESE ones attack without provocation, he’ll chalk these up as BADDIES.
After concluding the battle, or so it seemed, the two groups politely parted ways. However, it soon became apparent that they lost one of their own and Fizban expressed his condolences before moving a bit deeper into the tunnels (37:40).
Finally, he chances upon a cruel murderous mage who Fizban puts down (40:40). After seeing what he’d been up to, Fizban decided Naris deserved a LOT worse, but once you’re dead, you’re dead. Right? Fizban puts one last arrow in him just to make sure.
In relatively high spirits, Fizban remember’s Windhelm, kind of souring that, but only slightly as the move on (42:50) once leaving the cave. Rampant with racism, hate, and a Jarl full of spite and murder, Fizban has enough, deciding to turn in and leave as soon as possible (52:00).
Finally getting to the tavern, the pair witness a fight and rack out.
--BREAK--
Hi all, it’s been a blast getting here with you. Tomorrow, the plan is to take a carriage and check out the college, and he has trouble sleeping, taking second watch! We’ll see you then!
