Nocturno (1994, C64)

Nocturno is a puzzle game by Polish company Funeral Moon and published by Polish company L.K. Avalon.

The game is quite similar to One Step Beyond. You have levels of a single screen and need to make all platforms on the screen disappear by hopping on and off them. The levels are shown from a top-down view. You control a ball which can jump one or two fields in any of the 8 standard directions. Apart from making all platforms disappear, you need to finish on the field with "end" written on it. If you hop on the platform while others are still there, you loose a life and need to do the level again. You also loose a life if you jump into the void or run out of time.
Naturally, there many special platforms to make matters more complicated. Some platforms will create other platforms around them, indicated by arrows, when they disappear. This will also replace any special platform with an ordinary one. Others send you two fields in a direction indicated, while others will make some platforms around them disappear when you leave them (once again indicated by arrows).
