Dremico's Art Channel: Review Crayola 36 Colored Pencils Simple Review (no demonstration)

I love Crayola products. Today I'm finally taking a deeper look at these colored pencils. I've used crayola colored pencils in the past and I liked them. I'm not sure if the formula changed or if my colored pencil technique is off a bit, but I felt that these pencils somewhat under performed today.

The difference between Derwent Procolor and Crayola Colored Pencils 36 was too great when it comes to blending. If you look back at my review of Strathmore Tonned Tanned you will see how I created a perfect skin tone using pink orange and white, but with the crayolas it was patchy at best.

The colors are great as always, but I find that they are somewhat transparent at times; especially the white color. I really think the formula must have changed or something. Even though blending isn't all there layering seemed fine. the red and blue layered a couple of times over each other in the video.

I will still recommend these colored pencils for general applications.
