The Occult History of The Third Reich - Blood and Soil

This is the second in a four part series from The History Channel on the Occult History of The Third Reich. This episode concentrates on the Ubermensch theory and the Aryan race mythology that so strictly informed the Nazi policy on ethnic cleansing and ultimately fed fuel to the fires that burned in the ovens of the death camps. The concept of Blood and Soil as some anointed blessing to the superior race is one of the instigations of war in the search for Lebensraum and the promised land for the supposed superior race.

These beliefs held by the Nazis and Adolf Hitler, gave them a decidedly 'magical' objective when it came to taking over the world. This may explain some of the stranger actions undertaken by the Nazis; like the desire for acquiring holy and mystical relics like the Holy Grail and Spear of Destiny; their visits to world wide sites of known super natural and mystical power like Tibet; and their obsession with symbolism and totems of symbolic power.
