"Excessive hope and unrealistic optimism"

"i have learned that narcissists will not spend any time learning or trying to better themselves or understand other people so they can have more positive relationships where they can grow and others can grow also! they are only interested in negativity! 'supply' is negative energy they get from causing chaos and anxiety in others! it leaves them alone and constantly seeking new sources of negative energy and it is destructive to whoever allows them in their life! both parties lose! in fact all parties involved lose because of the narcissist's evil ways! it is obvious from all the websites about narcissistic abuse (that are mostly by 'empaths') that empaths are on a spiritual path of growth and understanding! i tried for years to get through to my mother and she would be ok for about 2 weeks to one month and then she needs to cause some kind of negative reaction in me to dump all her negative energy on me and free herself! i have lived on the other side of the US since i was 18 and i have only been home twice since then! i have had unrealistic optimism for many years but narcissists will keep pushing things until you 'have' to go no contact! once you go no contact for a while and you talk to them again it is easier to see how they use certain tactics to push your buttons! their life revolves around pushing their targets buttons! it is a complete waste of life!"
