Jarnail Singh ji took first dose of covishield on 30th April 2021 which was the day of his retirement. He was 58 years old and lived in Talwana Khurd village in Haryana's Sirsa district. He soon fell sick with a high temperature. He went to a doctor who gave hime 2 injections, his condition was not at all seriouse but the doctor insisted on him getting admitted as his oximeter showed a lesser reading. Jarnail Singh got admitted and was put on oxygen by the hospital. His relatives made visits to check on him and found him to be in normal condition until 9:30pm on 13th of May 2021. They were shocked when at 2:46am they got the news of Jarnail Singh's death. Before his death he was found to be corona positive and his death was registered as a covid death. The interviewee has tried his best to register for AEFI and get justice for his brother's death, but even after 3 requests to the Chief Minister and meetings with the Chief Medical Officer and even the hospital's doctor the family has not received justice. They await for response and assistance from the authorities.
